Tragic Indiana truck accident leaves one man dead
A recent truck accident near Chesterton, Indiana, has left a 37-year-old man dead. Details about the accident are few, but reports indicate that a semi-truck struck the victim’s pickup as he was standing outside of his vehicle. The force of the collision caused the victim to be struck by his own vehicle. Unfortunately, he died at the scene due to blunt force trauma.
Here is what has been reported at this time:
— The driver of the semi-trailer is a 72-year-old resident of Michigan.
— The truck accident occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Interstate 94.
— The victim parked his vehicle onto the outer shoulder and exited the truck.
— The semi crossed the “white fog line” onto the outer shoulder and collided with the pickup.
